Express Set

The Express Set is a set of trains that includes the National Express, Metro Express, Global Express, and the Regional Express. Each of these trains are the first fast trains available in Pocket Trains, unlocked after the Steamers. Each travels around 100 MPH and has small base fuel capacities.

Express trains have larger fuel capacities than Steamer trains, but they will burn it much faster than them. This is where the fuel car comes in. Adding a fuelcar will greatly increase an Express's efficiency. They are also the first train available where you can add an engine to the train, increasing hauling capacity by 4.
